The problem
Put an assistant on your personal number and it starts answering your friends and family. Leave it off and the leads coming from your ads wait hours for a reply — exactly when their intent is highest.
What we did
We built an assistant with two filters: it only activates if the number is not in the phone’s contacts and if the first message matches the pre-filled text from the ad — tolerating accents, emojis and small edits, because people rewrite the text before sending it. Once activated, it carries the conversation with AI.
We added a safeguard: if the owner of the number replies by hand in that chat, the assistant goes quiet there and stops interrupting. Every lead is logged with date, phone, plan of interest and first message.
The outcome
Campaign leads get an answer within seconds at any hour, and no automatic message ever reaches a personal contact. This is the assistant answering our own campaign.
